This is a petition for the surf server. My proposition is to have RPG taken the FUCK out, and have DM added. Along with this, we have surf_xiv_v2a (greatest map ever) put onto the server. It is literally the greatest map ever, everyone agrees besides people who haven't played it with 10+ people. The thing is, you remove DM for XIV, and put it on for other maps. Many of you may be douchebags (smoked) and say I WANT MY RPG, but honestly, XIV is the most fun I've ever had on any video game...

Crimson, I refuse to play rpg surf until DM is put back in, That was completely hipster's idea to take it out. As for the map, I think thats a great idea to put the map in. Currently, all the maps that are in there, as to my knowledge, have been requested by me. I personally like the surf, and the RPG, But I want DM in as well. It is what makes the RPG fun, you die.. so what? you get your ass handed to you by the #1 person on the server without DM? Your gonna get pissed and leave. I say add surf_xiv_v2a like you suggest, Add DM, and leave RPG.

Well, you guys must not have played a lot of Surf DM/Surf RPG DM because 95% of all the servers out there, just about everybody is camping spawn or jail, or wherever they can get kills easily. That, to me, is fucking boring. I don't know about you.

Lesbian Ranger sent me an IP to check out a Surf RPG DM. It was fun, for the first 5 minutes. And then it got retarded because the whole point of that server was to level up and get as many kills as you can, which means - camp somewhere you can shoot spawn, and camp somewhere in jail with your whole team.

I, for one, played a lot of Surf RPG DM before and it gets retarded after a few days.

Yes, I dislike the waiting, and yes I dislike it when somebody's level 98173435 and I'm level 1. But shit, in my opinion, that's much better than getting gang raped @ spawn or jail.

Im sorry, but i will phrase it different.

There will be no vote on this, if the server fails, we will change it of course.
At the moment the server is doing GREAT.

It wasnt Hipster, Ranger, who took off DM. We just never decided to have a DM.
We wanted to have a Surf RPG, if you dont like the waiting, well ... i cant help you - cant please everybody on the internet.
You could play sims - a game ull never have to wait to play.

I personally love all your ideas and all your great input, and your help.
But, we are not going to change servers like other ppl change their underwear only cause 1 guys refuses to play this, and another is asking for it as well.

We put up a Surf RPG Server, because alot of people who havent joined the Community yet / who have joined recently, are highly interested in such a server.
They are willings to spend more time in the servers to get it populated, than all Administrators together will be able to only idle in there.


Lesbian, your post made me angry in multiple ways, and i dont even wanna go into details.
If you wanna play Surf, play it.
If not, stay away from it.


P.S:
We are a brand new Community, we try our best to populate the servers.
I'd have a suggestion, take care of the current servers, as soon as they are regularly filled with a certain amount of players, we are more than willings to give you the Surf DM Server that you want so bad.

Well anyways, I'm not sure if any of you have played surf_xiv_v2a with no DM, no RPG, a decent amount of people (10+) and a lagless server, but it is BY FAR the most fun i have ever had on any game in my life (besides paint balling probably.) But to be honest, I know there are alot of people out there that feel the same, and if the server i used to play on didnt go down, i would have never found XFG, neither would spyder, wouldnt have found any of you, and would have still been having the time of my life (probably.) To be honest, I would go all out on recruiting for that server, if XIV was majorly played (I'm not sure how the other server did it, but it would stay on XIV for a long ass time, which was awesome.) If you want another person's opinion who you respect, Spyder would be the one to ask, because we played on the same server for about a year, and he was just as good as me, if not better. Now i know im ranting and the lower half might not be making as much sense, but XIV would appeal to alot of you and could turn into a big server for us.

Mia, I know your going to get all emotional, and I'm not sure why, but I am down for the Surf RPG w/No DM staying, but why not try out a 24/7 XIV server in place of the jailbreak for a week. If it doesnt work out, then you can all exile me or whatever, but the old server i used to play on was it the top25 for CS:S server (with only 26 slots) and averaged a little over 24 for the most part. Impressive, and of all the maps that were played XIV had 60% of it. Now I'm not expecting to see the server be that popular, but it has potential. And how you said the ideas like underwear or whatever, I understand that every idea can't be taken into consideration every time a new one is proposed, but if this isn't enough convincing done, then ask, and i will gladly do more

Whoever wants to keep the jailbreak around, I'm not sure why, my jailbreak also fails, most of us are sick of it, and it doesnt get populated either way (both of ours.) So how about taking it down for a week to test out an idea, which could sprout into something amazing.

Its late and my head isnt completely working correctly, so if i ranted without making sense, bring it up so i can fix it and make this as effective as possible.

First off, then dont start an argument.
Second off, none of our servers has failed so far, your mistaken my friend.
We are 3 Administrators and only 3 other main people who actually really try to populate the servers.
These 6 people, did and do a awesome job.
We had to learn tho, we kept idleing in different servers, not the best idea.
When we stopped focusing on 3 servers at the same time, and gave all our attention to ZM, it worked out extremly well.
None took care of Jailbreak anymore, and this is why it's empty.

Lets resumee.
The last time you were responsible for our servers as admin, as free admin, you left on your own, went to another Community, and paid for admin there.
When i asked you, why you didnt even tell us that you leave as admin, you came up with a bunch of excuses, and you said you "dont wanna fill up my and your servers at the same time, Mia".

Well, why would you fill the server/servers now?
Maybe because the other Community pulled your admin - once again.

When creating the current surf server, these were our options:

Replace it with one of our current servers (e.g. Jailbreak).
Just install it under the spare IP we had.
We chose the latter option because, aside from making our overall server list look more empty, it doesn't really hurt to leave the Jailbreak there.

Currently, our Jailbreak is failing because nobody has given it a hug yet. Zombie was given a huge hug; now it's successful. 2Fort has been given hugs here and there; during those times it has been successful. Surf RPG was given a hug today and I am sure that will become successful as well.

Recommending that we exchange the Jailbreak for a XIV server isn't a bad idea, but frankly that's a completely different topic than what this thread was originally about.

I'm too lazy to quote all these different things but i'll try to make it work.

The reason I abandoned you guys was because Jailbreak isn't that fun to me. I understand I screwed up, and I have done this many times, and I am trying to learn, but maybe check out some servers that run XIV in their rotation. I know intox. does, but not alot of servers do run it, which is why it could be so successful (kind of like the original idea with toy fort.)

The reason I was saying to not start an argument, was because I wanted to give my case with good support, which may cause some criticism.

The reason I would help you, unlike before, is because I gave up on my CS:S server, and my TF2 server is doing fine without me (for the most part.)

Well Hipster, the original point of this was to get XIV somewhere. I realized how successful the Surf RPG is going, so I thought of another way to get XIV into rG servers.

I'm sorry Mia, I know I have fucked up a lot and I know you hate me pretty much, but just check out a server running XIV with a decent amount of players. Play for 10-15 minutes. Sometimes one map gets picked a lot, but hopefully you don't run into that. I want to help rG as successful as possible, and I believe that a XIV server would help achieve this.

Yup. As soon our current servers are active on a regular basis, we'll take a community vote and see which server we should add next. And, of course, donations always help the process move along. :coolthumbup:
