haha. ive drank my fair share of both beers and liquors, and these are my faves:

beer- labbatt blues. don't even bother drinking beer if you aren't drinking these. only light beer i will drink is blue lights. I'm not into more of the hoppier, bitter beers. not entirely my thing, but sometimes they're great. it depends on the mood.

liquor - vodka. like smirnoff triple distilled. shit i drank an entire fifth in two put downs. vodka taste like water to me. i love whiskey, but im not an angry whiskey drinker. i like rum, say some morgans, or if im poor some castillo. first time i blacked out was on castillo. and of course everclear. don't know what that is, look it up.

I had some kind of a blue cactus margarita at a Spanglish restaurant. It was delicious.

The new one is supposed to be Twenty Seven percent Alcohol by volume, and they claim it is brewed that way...not distilled.

Fat Tire was only available in the west, it's brewed in Colorado and damn is it smooth for a beer, and like a few months ago they started selling it to the midwest
